• It's seriously happening. 

  • Our documentation is good for the down payment, so we're golden there
  • They're going to fix the things we asked them to fix
  • The appraisal is being ordered and we will have the report by the 11th
  • Our loan officer says closing early won't be an issue - which means we'll be out of here by the 1st of September, no problem
  • Our stocks have been liquidated and posted and a check was mailed out today, we receive it in 7-10 days
  • I know what colors I want to paint everything: mostly beige/cream with white trim, dark green (CLASSY dark green) brick in the kitchen and light green elsewhere in the kitchen, slate gray/blue in the guest bedroom and "shit" brown in the computer room (per George's request)
  • My mother says she wants to give us the bedroom set (mahogany SLEIGH bed with matching dresser) my parents bought for me when I was in high school, which means we'll have the set we have now plus that set, which means we're totally awesome
  • I know what countertops I want (kinda): black quartz or granite
  • I know what flooring I want for the 1st floor (kinda): real hardwood - large planks - walnut or mahogany, or travertine (good because George can install that himself)
  • We can also afford a refrigerator, because I am awesome and I have CREDIT
