  • Even when you think all is lost, God no longer loves you, you might as well curl up into a ball on your bathroom floor and die because you only have 60 cents to you and your husband's name because of a major lack of judgement, God proves you wrong and presents you with a $725 check from your husband's school due to overpayment for last semester's classes.

And He lowers your Geico payments by $150 a month.

And He makes it possible to buy a brand new computer & pay off a debt or two.

    I celebrated with a cigarette.

And reminded myself of a licence plate that said SINNER.

    God loves me anyway.

  • George just got a promotion and a raise! Now I can REALLY go shopping!

  • We didn't get approved for a loan.  To make myself feel better, last night I went shopping.  I now own 3 new pairs of shoes and two great tops from Torrid.  I haven't gone shopping just to go shopping in years.  Then I came home and helped George buy a flat screen TV.  Plasma, 1080p, 42 inch, thank you very much.  It'll be here in 5 to 10 business days.  Today I'm going to figure out how to finally order prints of my wedding photos... I think it's about time.  In two weeks(ish) I hope George has his cover tattoo figured out and we can get that done.

  • Pray.

We're looking at something and we've signed papers for it, but I'm not going to blog about it - I'm not going to post pictures and tell you "this is where George the fifth will be staying" and go on about how excited I am about it.  Last 5 times I've done that they've all fallen through.  So if you want a sneak peek about what I'm talking about, go to my pictures.  I'll blog about it more in a week when we know for sure.  And this time, someone pray for us.

  • Lindsay's flowers were beautiful - gerbera daisies which happen to be her favorite.

I felt really bad for her... I would be drained emotionally for a really, really long time after that.

Apparently now there's a pill that you can take to have an abortion.  She took four of these pills yesterday around 3:30, and ten minutes later she was feeling cramps.  The cramps felt fine, like a regular period for about 3 hours and then in the span of 10 minutes, at around 6, the pain got unbearable and she took a Loritab.  She said it was the most excruciating pain she's ever been in.  At around 11 she was peeing and she felt something kinda plop out of her and she knew.  She had to pick it out of the toilet and put it in a urine sample cup (her awesome husband that also works with us let me see it - it looked like watery, slimy jelly)... I guess she has to take it in for the doctor to look at, make sure nothing was wrong with it so they know that next time they try, it should be a healthy fetus.  She was up when I went there at around noon, she actually just got back from the store.  She said the pain was mostly gone and she was feeling much, much better.

Man.  It's tough for me and I'm not involved!

  • I'm awake early on my Saturday for one reason - my coworker and really good friend had a miscarriage and I'm going to deliver flowers to her from 6 of us at work.  Miscarriages are always so hard but they're so common.  I was telling George about my coworker and I was telling him how sad it made me to think of it.  He seemed to think I was crazy to be sad about a miscarriage, especially when it wasn't even mine.  I told him he would be devastated if I got pregnant, waited all that time (she's 2 1/2 months along), only to find out that your baby is dead inside and you have to have an abortion and start all over.

He said he wouldn't think anything of it.

Sometimes he's awful.  He would be sad.  Right?

  • George got home from work last night at 10 - AND HE HAD FLOWERS!  I have the bestest husband ever.

He got me white carnations, to show how clueless he can be sometimes (DUDE, they're a FUNERAL flower),
little pink roses (I don't know the formal name of 'em),
and white and pink lilies, to show that he REALLY does know me - lilies are my FAVORITE ever, and the main flower I used at our wedding.

    I love that man.

Obviously I need some help on my flower arranging skills.

So tonight I'll be working from home.  I've remoted into my work desktop for the first time EVAR, which is super exciting and makes me feel important.

  • Soooooo I brought home a big stack of busy work to do tonight, and I have to do it in 3 hours before my world of warcraft event with the fam and I don't want to do it.

That's our guild website - Jinxed.  It's not much of a website, just a forum where we can talk about issues and make plans to get together and do stuff.  I play with my dad, my brother Rob, his wife Ann, my brother Mark, my brother Coray, his wife Kat, my brother Drew, Rob's friend Kirk, Kirk's friends Chris and Tyson, and Drew's friends Bob and Brian.  Soooo much fun.

George and I have been thinking about getting another tattoo.  I want him to get a tattoo to cover up his old girlfriend's name, Christina, on his left boobage area.  George went to the doctor yesterday and he had to take off his clothes and lie on the bed thing and the doctor saw the tattoo and said "I hope your wife's name is Christina..." George said "nope."  The doctor did a double take and said "How'd you get away with THAT one!?"  Yeah.  So if you have any great ideas, let me know.  Here's a picture I took last summer when he got a sunburn:

    Hairy.

We figure we'll be able to buy a house at the end of March, middle of April.  Say a little prayer for us.

My arm hurts.  Heart attack.  I need leftover Chinese food.  I NEED to do this dumb project for work.

    UGH... REALLY nothing to write.

  • I went outside tonight and I was finally able to see the stars.  It's been over a month.
