I haven't been on the computer except for work purposes for a whole week. I started book one of the Twilight series last Saturday night. I just finished the fourth and final book. It was fantastic... there are no other words.

I just read Twilight in 9 hours, which for me is pretty amazing. I hardly ever read, and when I do, it's never a book, and when I read a book, I usually don't get past the first chapter, but when I do I can't put the book down.
I have to say it was pretty incredible, although I hate to admit it.
I'll probably go buy the other books tomorrow during lunch.

Today is my birthday. It was the saddest birthday to date. I spent the majority of it at work, and when it came time to go to lunch, the girls invited me to go to lunch with them to celebrate a birthday... Hailey's. Not mine. I declined and had Jill, a coworker to which I seem to really relate to and sits next to me, take me out to Cheesecake Factory. We both had a mixed drink (shh) with our meals. George works late tonight, so essentially I've spent the whole day by myself. Coco's my only drinking companion tonight.
I baked myself a pie a while ago, and when I went to unwrap it I noticed George already found his way to it. I lit myself 22 candles and blew them out, but forgot to make a wish.
Oh, sweet Bacardi, bring me joy on this cynical day.

Happy Thanksgiving!
As tradition, I will list what I am thankful this year:
- George, what a wonderful husband - so patient, intelligent, kind, sacrificing
- My family, because friends are overrated. Family is there for life.
- Our townhouse, I still can't figure out how we got a loan
- Not being unemployed for the holidays and actually having 5 weeks of double pay
- DVRs/TIVOs, best invention ever
- Computers & the internet
- Tampons
- Chocolate
- Cars, because I enjoy being fat
- Food, because I enjoy being fat

Siegfried and jensen is a good place to work. Actually the job is so super duper easy, I don't get how its taken some of the clerks 3 days to get how to do it. I actually get paid the same that garretson was paying me, so everything really fell together in the end. I really wasn't expecting to get a job in the legal field and I certainly wasn't expecting to get ANY job this quick. I guess they constantly promote clerks to paralegals, so I think I have a really good chance at doing that someday.
There are only a few negatives. I cannot be on the internet for any reason unless the attorney has a special project for me. Also the lunches are an hour long. I hate when I'm forced to have a lunch, I feel like its time wasted. Eating takes 10 minutes, I don't have any errands to run, so yesterday and today I've spent lunch in my car, by myself, listening to music and browsing the internet on my blackberry. I also don't have a cubicle yet, so I don't have a phone or computer.
The good things are the pay isn't lower, the job is 10x easier than at garretson, I know most of the people already and get along with them,the benefits are good. The christmas party is next week so I'm excited, its going to be fancy... I don't know too much about it though.Oh and I'm excited for thanksgiving! Its going to be at my brothers house this year. Only thing I'm worried about is he has 2 cats and george is really allergic to cats. Rob is setting up a tv room in his basement with a big projector screen and big lazy boys, that's a cat free zone down there so hopefully george won't have problems if he stays down there to watch the game.
